Gary Busey Is Bankrupt [VIDEO]

Here’s a guy once nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Buddy Holly, over 70 films to his name, a slight touch of insanity, and now no money. Say it isn’t so!!!

TMZ broke the story yesterday that Busey owes up to a million dollars in past debt, while only holding onto about fifty-thousand at the moment. The list of his debtors include the IRS, his attorneys, UCLA Medical Center, and a woman he supposedly attacked in Tulsa last spring (???).

After his 1988 motorcycle accident, which left him with permanent brain damage, Busey’s career began a downward spiral. Lately his acting credits have included some seriously low-budget straight-to-dvd or Sci Fi channel movies, as well as stints on Celebrity Fit Club and Celebrity Rehab.

Gary Busey also starred in Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice last season. Let’s face it, he was the most entertaining character on the show and probably should’ve won. As crazy as he is, he drove his teammates crazier – the most epic was causing this meltdown with Meatloaf.

My solution to Gary’s bankruptcy is for NBC to say, ‘Gary, here’s one hour at 8pm every Sunday night. Do whatever you want.’ I guarantee you’ll see some of the most entertaining television in the history of the box.
